Screen repairs

Re-bonding Repair of a Samsung Galaxy S3 Screen

Stage 1.
The phone is stripped down and the top screen and frame is clamped on a temperature controlled heated plate to soften the glue that bonds the front glass and the digitizer. When heated to the correct temperature molybdenum wire is used to split the top glass from the digitizer  screen.

 Stage 2.
The top glass can then be removed and the remaining resin can be removed from the digitizer.

 Stage 3.
Once all the resin has been removed leaving no marks or bits and the old adhesive strip from around the outside edge has been removed from the digitizer , the rebuild can start.

 Stage 4
Resin is spread across the center of the digitizer screen and the new tape placed around the outer edge of the frame.

 Stage 5
The new top glass is very slowly lowered into place making sure there is no air trapped. See our youtube video
 Stage 6.
The screen is then placed under a uv light to bond the two screens together.

 Stage 7.
The screen is now ready to re-assembled into the phone.
